LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Special food items featuring smoked sausage, chorizo and french fries will be available at Dodger Stadium for games between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Washington Nationals tonight and Sunday.
The DC Half Smoked Sausage is pork and beef smoked sausage topped with chili con carne, diced onions and mustard. The Chorizo Torta is chorizo sausage split in half with ranchero bean spread, shredded lettuce, sliced tomato, queso fresco and smoke jalapeno aioli on a roll.
The Pastrami Fries are golden crispy fries topped with pastrami and brown gravy.
The specials will be available at the On Deck Circle stands on Field Level section 48, Loge Level section 133 and Reserve Level section 4.
Former U.S. Army Capt. Michael Harley of San Marino will be honored as the Military Hero of the Game Saturday.
Harley joined the Army in 2001 and served as an infantry platoon leader. He was deployed to Iraq and was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star.
Following active duty, Harley joined the California Army National Guard. He was deployed in support of the 2007 San Diego wildfires and was a troop commander on a NATO peace-keeping mission to Kosovo.
Harley is the executive director of Level Up Solutions, a nonprofit organization he co-founded that provides services and support to adults with developmental disabilities.
The first 40,000 fans in attendance Saturday will receive a bobblehead of Dodger first baseman Cody Bellinger holding his National League Rookie of the Year Award. Bellinger's sister Ashli will throw the ceremonial first pitch.
