Michael Cohen Raid Sought 'Access Hollywood' Tape Records

When FBI agents raided the office and hotel room of President Donald Trump's personal lawyer Michael Cohen they were reportedly looking for documents relating to the 2005 “Access Hollywood” tape in which Trump was caught on a hot mic making vulgar comments about women.

The FBI is investigating Cohen's attempts to suppress negative stories about then-candidate Trump ahead of the 2016 presidential election. They also took information regarding a $130,000 payment Cohen made to Stephanie Clifford, a porn star who goes by the name Stormy Daniels to keep her quiet about an alleged affair she had with Trump in 2006.

Investigators are also looking into whether or not Cohen committed bank fraud and if his payments could be considered improper campaign donations to the president.
