L.A. Dodgers To Host 2020 MLB All-Star Game

Dodgers to host 2020 all-star game

The Los Angeles Dodgers are set to host the 2020 Major League Baseball All-Star Game, according to a report from the Los Angeles Times

An official announcement about the game will be made on Wednesday, with MLB commissioner Rob Manfred in attendance.

This will be the first time Chavez Ravine will play host to the game since 1980, when the National League All-Stars won 4-2. The Dodgers and Chicago Cubs were among the two candidates to host the 2020 game. This year, the All-Star game will be held in Washington D.C. by the Nationals, while the Cleveland Indians will play host in 2019.

Only nine teams since 1980 have hosted the All-Star game twice.
