It was originally reported that the woman who opened fire at YouTube's San Bruno campus yesterday was involved in a domestic dispute. Since then, details have emerged that paint a very different portrait of the female shooter.
Nasim Aghdam was an outspoken and militant vegan, she had several YouTube channels devoted to her lifestyle and recently had taken to the internet to complain about YouTube and their policies. Aghdam believed that there was a conspiracy to censor and suppress her online presence.
Her family spoke to reporters and explained that she "hated YouTube". Her father knew that she had a vendetta and actually reported her missing on Monday believing that she could be heading to YouTube and was even found sleeping in her car early Tuesday morning by Mountain View police but they let her go.
