LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose today to its highest amount since Aug. 31, 2015, increasing six-tenths of a cent to $3.562.
The average price has risen 24 consecutive days, increasing 14 cents, including six-tenths of a cent on Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 4.5 cents more than one week ago, 13.6 cents higher than one month ago and 55.1 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 41.2 cents since the start of the year.
The Orange County average price rose today to its highest amount since Aug. 28, 2015, increasing six-tenths of a cent to $3.521. It has risen 22 of the past 24 days, increasing 13.9 cents, including six-tenths of a cent on Wednesday.
The Orange County average price is 3.9 cents more than one week ago, 13.1 cents higher than one month ago and 52.3 cents greater than one year ago. It has risen 40.5 cents since the start of the year.
