Heroic School Officer Stopped Shooter

There was another school shooting Tuesday morning that left two students injured and the student gunman dead at Great Mills High School in Great Mills Maryland, just east of the Potomac River.

The shooting happed at 8am when Austin Rollins, 17, fired a Glock 9-millimeter gun at a 16-year-old female student. The school security officer, Deputy First Class Blake Gaskill, responded with fire to Rollins who shot back at Gaskill simultaneously. A 14-year-old student was injured in that exchange but Gaskill was not hit. This was the shot that took down Rollins.

The gunman is dead. FBI Agents were available to help local deputies, there is no known motive.
