A session held on Saturday, March 17 in crowded City Hall Chambers ended in a compromise resolution to extend some motel stay vouchers for the homeless evicted from the Santa Ana Riverbed on a case by case basis.
The voucher extension agreement was sorted out during a five-hour closed door session called upon to appease the civil rights lawsuit filed against the county after they dismantled a heavily populated tent city.
