Custodian Pockets Students' Cash During Walkouts

A South Carolina school custodian rummaged through students’ belongings during a school walkout and took their money.

Aisha Evans stole $180 from three Richland Northeast High School students while they participated in a national protest against gun violence on March 14.

Administrators say Evans has been charged with petty larceny and is no longer employed.

Students marched in a national school walkout one month after 17 were killed at Stoneman Douglas in Parkland, Florida.
