Picture it, January 2018, a Delta passenger made headlines after she tried to bring her emotional support peacock on her flight from Newark to Los Angeles. After being rejected, owner and peacock decided to make it a road trip and made their journey by car.
Well, they did make it to Los Angeles and were both profiled by the LA Times. We learned that the owner is a Brooklyn NY based artist who goes by the name Ventiko and the bird is called Dexter. She bought Dexter from a lawyer in Florida and planned to use the bird in an art installation. Once that was settled we learn about their love story in a 'who rescued who' kind of way.
