Warren Beatty, Faye Dunaway Get Second Chance To Present 'Best Picture'

Who said Hollywood doesn't give second chances?

TMZ reported Friday that Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway will get their second chance at redemption after last year's fiasco and mix-up between "Moonlight" and "La La Land" for Best Picture

The Bonnie and Clyde duo were reportedly seen at the Dolby Theatre rehearsing the best picture announcement, and went through their lines twice TMZ said. The pair were heard cracking jokes about last year's flub, the site said, while writers continue to work on their lines.

Last year, Beatty and Dunaway mistakenly announced "La La Land" as the Best Picture winner after being handed the wrong envelope from an employee with PricewaterhouseCooper, the company responsible for tallying the votes. It was only after a "La La Land" producer interrupted the celebration onstage that people realized the wrong movie was announced and Moonlight had actually won Best Picture.

This year's Best Picture Nominees are:

  • “Call Me by Your Name”
  • “Darkest Hour”
  • “Dunkirk”
  • “Get Out”
  • “Lady Bird”
  • “Phantom Thread”
  • “The Post”
  • “The Shape of Water”
  • “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri”

Hopefully the duo will have an easier time the second time around.
