Photos: Guide Dogs in Training Channel Winter Olympics

The Winter Olympics may be over but the spirit is living on in five guide dogs-in-training.

Guiding Eyes for the Blind President and CEO Thomas Panek says the school has named its "Olympic Litter" of yellow Labrador retrievers after five American gold medalists.

"Each of these athletes showed their dedication, drive and talent at the 2018 Winter Games, and we hope each of these puppies will grow into guide dogs that will make them proud.

Just like Team USA inspired all of us watching at home, our guide dogs inspire us every day by giving people with vision loss greater independence and freedom."

Anderson, Jessie, Kikkan, Kim and Mikaela are named after snowboarder Jamie Anderson, cross country duo Jessie Diggins and Kikkan Randall, halfpipe winner Chloe Kim and slalom champ Mikaela Shiffrin.
