California's Democratic Party is not offering its backing to the state's senior U.S. senator, Dianne Feinstein. Feinstein failed to win enough votes at the California Democratic Party convention to win its endorsement for the upcoming midterm elections.
She won just 37-percent of delegates, while her challenger Kevin de Leon got 54-percent. Neither received the 60-percent of delegates required to earn the Party's support.
