Florida Shooter Booked on 17 Premeditated Murder Counts

More information is pouring in as the 19 year-old Florida school shooter has been booked on 17 premeditated murder counts.

Nikolas Cruz was expelled from the Parkland, Florida school over disciplinary problems, but school officials didn't offer any other details.

Cruz allegedly turned on the fire alarm, causing students to run outside, where he began to fire before following others inside.

From there, authorities say he roamed the halls and allegedly began to target students huddled in classrooms.

Students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School say they aren't surprised by what happened; Eddie Bonilla said Cruz loved to show off his guns.

"We actually, a lot of kids threw jokes around like that, saying that he's the one to shoot up the school, but it turns out everyone predicted it. It's crazy."

Police are looking at Cruz's digital history and what they've found they are calling disturbing.

Officials say besides the 17 victims, 14 more are being treated at hospitals...most of their conditions are unknown.
