Two women were arrested and charged on Wednesday with multiple counts of endangering children.
Three children were found in the Maryland home of Amanda R. Wright and her live in girlfriend Besline Joseph.
The abuse is speculated to have began sometime in early 2017.
The children, ages 8, 9, and 10 suffered harsh bruises, cuts, and bloody noses from a variety of weapons. They were occasionally forced to eat dog feces and were frequently locked up in closets and the basement.
The women were charged with three counts each of first-degree child abuse, second-degree child abuse, first-degree assault, reckless endangerment, neglect of a minor, and more charges.
