39-year-old illegal alien Ricardo Velasquez-Romero, who also goes by the name Eulalio Miniz Orozco, was arrested last month for stabbing a 61-year-old man in the neck at Lola's Market in Santa Rosa.

Velasquez has been deported seven times, according to ICE:

“Records indicate Mr. Velasquez also has multiple prior criminal convictions, including those from felony drug and weapons charges."

ICE has place a detainer on Velasquez with the Sonoma County Jail, and wants to take custody of him when he gets out of local custody.

The stabbing appears to have been unprovoked, as Velasquez and the victim were sitting at different tables and had not spoken to each other before the encounter at the restaurant. Santa Rosa Police said in a press release:

“At one point, the suspect stood up and walked toward the victim. The suspect had an unknown stabbing instrument in his hand and stabbed the victim once in the neck. The suspect then fled the area on foot.”

The victim was taken to the hospital with a life-threatening injury but is now in stable condition. Click here for more at Fox News.
