Mudslide Reported In Malibu

Topanga Canyon Boulevard in Malibu is closed due to a mudslide caused by the heavy rainstorm ripping through Southern California. It was first reported this morning about a mile north of Pacific Coast Highway.  No injuries were reported, but drivers are urged to avoid the area and take alternative routes.  Mudslides, debris flow and flooding have closed several roadways throughout the region, including the 101 Freeway in Ventura.
