SUN VALLEY (CNS) - A man was critically wounded today in an officer- involved shooting involving an FBI agent in Sun Valley, according to authorities.
The shooting occurred about 5:40 a.m. in the 10300 block of Horse Haven Street, said Officer Drake Madison of the Los Angeles Police Department's media relations office.
LAPD officers and FBI agents were serving a search warrant at the location when the shooting by the FBI agent occurred, Madison said. No law enforcement officers were injured, he said.
Information was not immediately available on the nature of the search warrant.
The wounded man was hospitalized in critical condition, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
