Several new laws went into effect in the new year, but there was one that caused the most outrage and subsequent backlash.
Oregon House Bill 2482 allows people who live in counties with 40,000 residents or less to pump their own gas.
Let's rewind a bit...
For us in California, pumping your own gas is common sense and is just another obvious factor in owning and driving a vehicle.
However, for people in Oregon, New Jersey and in Huntington, New York it is illegal to do so.
Or at least it was...and Oregon is piiiiiissssseeeeeddddd.
