The Metropolitan Transportation Authority of Los Angeles County is offering free rides home for New Year Eve party people on all MTA buses and Metro Rail trains. The free rides will be offered from 9 p.m. until 2 a.m. Orange County residents can get free bus rides home from 6:30 tonight until 2:30 Monday morning, courtesy of the Orange County Transportation Authority.
And, motorists who've had a little too much holiday cheer can get their cars towed for free and catch a ride with the tow truck driver thanks to the Automobile Club's "Tipsy Tow" service. It's available from 6 p.m. until 6 a.m. in 13 Southern California counties.
