Multiple people have been injured in a workplace shooting at a business in Long Beach, California according to the Long Beach police department. Officials say police responded to an active shooting situation at 2:25 p.m. Friday afternoon at the 300 block of San Antonio Dr.. Two people are dead, including the shooter. One other person was injured, who drove himself to the hospital. His exact condition is unknown at this time.
Officials did not say what business was involved, but the Long Beach Press Telegram reports it was at a law office located at 350 E. Antonio, which is listed as a law firm. Police are describing the scene as "no longer an active shooting situation."
Photos and video of the scene posted by people nearby on Twitter showed a large law enforcement response to the incident, with several streets blocked off. Some people can be heard talking about hearing gunshots around the time of the incident.
