A woman who was hurt on the U.S. Bank Tower Skyslide L.A. is reaching a settlement with the operator. New York resident Gayle Yashar broke her ankle last year while coming down the slide which juts out from the building nearly a thousand feet above downtown Los Angeles.
Defense attorneys had argued that the woman assumed the risk of injury by riding down the attraction in the first place. The terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
