The Thomas Fire has burned over 115,000 acres and has destroyed over 400 homes and other structures. Firefighters say they made good progress on the fire yesterday but it remains only five percent contained.
Ventura County homeowners have been forced to flee their homes as mandatory evacuation orders were issued yesterday for Faria Beach and parts of Carpinteria in neighboring Santa Barbara County. Some parts of Ojai, Santa Paula, and La Conchita remain under evacuation.

Santa Paula unincorporated area towards Ventura- North of Foothill Road from Peck Road to Wells Road including: Wheeler Canyon, Aliso Canyon and Rancho Vista
City of Ventura - Teloma east to Brent Street, Telegraph Road north to north of Foothill Road
City of Ventura - Victoria Road east to Hill Road, Telegraph Road north to Foothill Road
