Jimmy Kimmel's 7-month-old son, Billy, had a successful second round of surgery on Monday. To allow Kimmel to stay home and spend time with his son, other famous comedians are stepping up to guest host the show this week.
The first night this week, Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt hosted with guests Margot Robbie and Chris Stapleton. Tonight, Tracee Ellis Ross will be the guest host with guests Mary J. Blige and Amanda de Cadenet, and musical guest Miguel featuring Travis Scott.
Wednesday the 6th, we will see Neil Patrick Harris hit screens on Jimmy Kimmel as the guest host with guests Vanessa Kirby and Jules Sylvester. And Kirby and Sylvester are going to bring their own guests -- several animals, ABC News reports.
Thursday, December 7th, Melissa McCarthy will bring the heat with guests Octavia Spencer and Dave Franco, and musical guest, Hanson.
Kimmel's son, Billy, was born with heart defects was originally supposed to have the surgery in October. The surgery was postponed due to family members in the household having colds, making doctors worry, according to the Associated Press.
Since the surgery, Kimmel has posted about his son on Twitter, saying he is doing well.
