Man gets prison for weapons cache at California rail station

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A man caught with a cache of illegal weaponry at a Southern California commuter train station has been sentenced to four years in prison.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office says 28-year-old Harrison Goodine of Georgia was sentenced Thursday.

Sheriff's deputies took Goodine into custody on June 21 for urinating in public at a Metro Gold Line station in Pasadena.

The deputies then discovered a rifle, handgun, silencers and gun magazines in Goodine's duffel bag.

He was found guilty on Oct. 20 of six felonies including possessing silencers and an assault weapon, having a concealed firearm, and two counts involving a large capacity magazine.
