Now that Charles Manson is dead, the future of his remains is unclear. California law states Manson's next of kin has until November 29th to either to claim or decline to take possession of the body. If that doesn't happen, law enforcement officials will need to make arrangements for his cremation or burial.
Any money or personal belongings Manson had would be put towards the cost of his burial plans and anything left over could be auctioned off after a year. Manson was the mastermind behind a string of brutal murders in Los Angeles in 1969 and led a cult that went by the "Manson Family."
