Navy not happy with penis prank

Residents of Washington state got quite a show from an  F/A-18 Growler that flew around and drew male genitalia in the sky.

While the people on the ground and on social media thought the prank was hilarious, officials with the Naval Air Station Whidbey were not happy at all.

They confirmed that the two-man crew inside the plane were responsible for the rude drawing and apologized on their behalf:

“The actions of this aircrew were wholly unacceptable and antithetical to Navy core values. The Navy apologizes for this irresponsible and immature act.”

The crew members have been grounded while an investigation is being conducted. For most of the locals in Okanogan, Washington, the penis in the sky was the talk of the town.

Ramone Duran said:

"After it made the circles at the bottom, I knew what it was and started laughing. It was pretty funny to see that. You don’t expect to see something like that.”

Misty Waugh said she didn't know about it until her 12-year-old son texted her a picture:

“I thought it was pretty funny, and so did he. A lot of people have been talking about it.”
