(Los Angeles, CA)  --  Getting through TSA at Los Angeles International Airport is about to get a lot quicker. The airport is set to unveil five Automatic Screening Lanes today at the Tom Bradley International Terminal.

The 12-billion-dollar project will eventually upgrade 14 of the 16 lanes with the new technology by next spring.  Airport officials say the checkpoints allow up to five passengers to fill trays and go through body scanning at the same time, which is projected to screen one-thousand more people per hour.
