(Fontana, CA) -- Police are searching for the gunman who opened fire on a car on a Fontana freeway. The car-to-car shooting happened at about 7:00 this morning on the westbound 210 Freeway near Cherry Avenue.
Officers say the driver and a passenger were taken to a hospital in unknown conditions.
At least five bullet holes could be seen on the driver's side of the vehicle. Lanes on the 210 were shut down for the investigation, but have since been reopened.
