(San Diego, CA)  --  Over 100-thousand people are now vaccinated against hepatitis A in San Diego.  The massive amount of vaccinations comes amid a major outbreak of the virus, which has killed 20 people in California over the last few months.

Health officials said this week that about 85-percent of the preventative shots were given to people who are at the greatest risk of infection including homeless people and drug users.  The number of new cases in San Diego County is now slowing, with only two new cases since last week.
