Video: Sherri Papini Running Through Lot After Release From Captivity

Shasta County Sheriff's investigators released surveillance video shows Sherri Papini running through a church parking lot right after her release from captivity on Thanksgiving last year.

The video shows the Redding woman running by the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Woodland and out of view.

Shasta County Sheriff's Sergeant Brian Jackson says she then runs back into frame and back towards where she came.

"She went to the church looking for help."

Papini disappeared three weeks earlier while out for a jog near Mountain Gate in Shasta County.

The morning of Thanksgiving, Papini's alleged kidnappers kicked her out of the car on the side of the road near the church.

Minutes after she was seen on the tape, a trucker spotted Papini and stopped to help her.

Reports say Papini's injuries were fairly severe:

"She had a quarter-inch-thick chain around her waist and hose clamps around her wrists. Her face was bruised and her nose broken from beatings she sustained during her time in captivity, according to her family. She weighed only 87 pounds."

A $10,000 reward for information leading to her captors has been offered...anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at (916) 746-7000.
