Activists in the San Fernando Valley are calling for State Assemblyman Raul Bocanegra to resign after news came out that he groped a staffer 8 years ago.
Elise Flynn Gyore says Bocanegra reached under her blouse at a Sacramento nightclub in 2009. At the time, Bocanegra was Chief of Staff to then-Assemblyman Felipe Fuentes.
Longtime community leader David Hernandez organized a protest with several local activists to show up to Bocanegra's office last Wednesday.
Bocanegra wasn't at his district office when the group arrived, but his staffers took down the names and phone numbers of the protesters.
