Nanny cam footage led to the arrest of a Santa Ana nurse who was shown kicking a 6-year-old child.
In the same video, the nurse Oscar Felix is also seen slapping the little boy in the face.
The child's mother says Felix was hired to come to their home five days a week as her son suffers from CHARGE syndrome.
"He can't hear so he's not able to communicate. He's a stubborn baby and he has trouble breathing. He doesn't eat by himself, he eats through a machine."
After seeing the video, she called police and Felix was arrested on suspicion of child abuse.
Maxim Health Care Services, the company Felix works for, says he has been fired.
"The care and safety of our patients is our highest priority. Immediately upon learning of this incident we suspended the employee and initiated an investigation."
