Weinstein Party Offered McGowan $1 Million in September

Rose McGowan continues to pull no punches when it comes to Harvey Weinstein...opting instead to pull out the rug from under him!

The Charmed star and unofficial chairperson of the anti-Weinstein campaign reported that in late September she was offered $1 million in hush money by the Weinstein camp.  The deal would also include a new NDA (non-disclosure agreement).

Dealing with the Devil?

McGowan admits that she did not refuse the offer initially.

"I had all these people I'm paying tell me to take it so that I could fund my art.." - Rose McGowan

Following this advice, McGowan decided not only to respond to Weinstein's 7-figure offer, but to counter with a deal of her own.

The new deal reportedly went to the same tune as Weinstein's original offer, but demanded a 500% monetary increase to bring the dollar amount to $6,000,000!

Buyer's remorse

However, after her lawyers had submitted the counter-offer, she instructed them to rescind it:

"I was like - ew, gross, you're disgusting, I don't want your money, that would make me feel disgusting."
