An Ohio man with a box-cutter who tried to rob a gas station outside Cincinnati got what was coming to him when he station's manager knocked him out with a single punch.

Would-be robber Andre Young tried to jump over the counter and was soon taken down by the man behind the cash register.

In the 911 call, the clerk said:

He's still in here. I had to knock him out. You need to get a trooper here now, because he's in here, he's in here all f----- up."

Young allegedly told the cashier, "We can do this the easy way, or the hard way," before jumping over the counter.

52-year-old Young was acting like he was about to buy a can of beer. He told police that he was using the box-cutter to remove something from his shirt, but when an officer called him out on it, Young said, "Man I was drunk."

Young was still sporting the nice shiner in court on Tuesday when he was given a $175,000 bond and was charged with aggravated robbery and assault.
