Game Two of the World Series is set for tonight and Los Angeles is experiencing a late October heatwave that shows no signs of relenting.
Temperatures have been breaking records all day, including in Downtown LA near Dodger Stadium:
The first pitch of game 1 was thrown in 103* heat making it the hottest post season game in Major League Baseball history. The previous record heat for a World Series game was set in Phoenix Arizona, October 27, 2001 - where temperatures were in the mid 90s as they played with a high of 98* during the day.
Game 2 is set to be a LITTLE cooler, with an expectation of 95* when the first pitch is thrown at 5:09pm PDT.
