Light Rain Helps Firefighters Increase Wildfire Containment Lines

The air is cleaner and wildfire containment numbers are up in the North Bay thanks to overnight rain.  It was only light showers, with official accumulations running between about one-tenth of an inch to one-third, but this is the first day in nearly two-weeks the region is not under a Spare The Air alert.

CAL FIRE's containment numbers are up a few percent since last night's update with full containment still targeted for next Tuesday.  The Tubbs Fire is now 93-percent contained, the Nuns Fire is at 85-percent, the Pocket Fire at 82-percent and the Atlas Fire is 87-percent contained.
