HalloweenCostumes.com has taken some major heat online for selling an Anne Frank costume on their site.
The costume featured a long sleeve button up dress, a brown shoulder bag and a green beret.
The description describes Anne as a World War II hero and an inspiration saying, "we can always learn from the struggles of history."
And people didn't take to kindly too the Halloween get up:
Fun.com public relations specialist, Ross Walker Smith issued an apology for the costume.
“We sell costumes not only for Halloween season, such as school projects and plays. We offer several types of historically accurate costumes – from prominent figures to political figures, to television characters.
“We take feedback from customers very seriously. We have passed along the feedback regarding this costume, and it has been removed from the website at this time.”
