A security guard almost lost his arm battling a 25ft python, which was later chopped up and eaten by Indonesian villagers.
Robert Nababan says he was patrolling an oil palm plantation in the Batang Gansal subdistrict when he came upon the giant snake.
Nababan tried to catch the snake and stuff it into a bag, but unsurprisingly the snake wasn't cool with that so it bit his left arm, nearly severing it from his body totally.
Local police say there was a struggle before villagers came to his rescue and bashed the snake with a log.
The locals then took the dead snake, put it on display for a bit then diced it, fried it and chowed down.
