Country singer Jason Aldean says he is still coming to terms with the mass shooting that took place during his Las Vegas show.
Aldean was mid-performance when the first shots rang out during the Route 91 Harvest music festival.
“Over the last 24 hrs I have gone through lots of emotions. Scared, Anger, Heartache, Compassion and many others.”
In the wake of the shooting, Aldean has decided to cancel his upcoming Southern California shows.
“I feel like out of respect for the victims, their families and our fans, it is the right thing to do. It has been an emotional time for everyone involved this week, so we plan to take some time to mourn the ones we have lost and be close with our family and friends.”
He was scheduled to have performances in Inglewood, Chula Vista and Anaheim.
