(Riverside, CA) -- A couple from the Riverside area are taking a few days off after surviving the massacre in Las Vegas. Adrian and Jared Hanebrink were at the Route 91 music festival Sunday night when a lone gunman opened fire on the crowd. They say they had just taken a break to visit the porta-potties when the shooting started, and they feel that short trip may have saved their lives.
They described the scene as "a massacre" in which thousands of people, including themselves, ran for their lives. They were with a large group that attended the concert, and they say all are alive, but not unscathed.
