Detectives Asking for Public's Help Identifying Suspect

Santa Ana police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who's suspected in several armed robberies.

The suspect is described as being a male, hispanic, around 30-40 years old with a medium build and shaved head and buzz cut. The male is around 5'8" to 5'10" tall and estimated to be 170-190 pounds.

Police say, the mustachioed menace entered several different businesses between April and September of this year, demanding cash and valuables from employees. During one robbery at the Pan Dulce Bakery, the suspect demanded money from the cashier while holding a female customer hostage at gunpoint.

At another robbery at Tri Income Tax, the suspect allegedly struck a woman on the head with his gun while struggling to take her purse.

The suspect has been spotted exiting and entering the right front passenger seat of a gold, or beige colored Ford Explorer at Metro PCS back in June.

Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact the Santa Ana Police Department at (714) 245-8362 or the Orange County Crime Stoppers at 1-855-TIP-OCCS.
