Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti has a lot of support for a presidential run, at least in L.A. A Loyola Marymount University survey shows a majority of Los Angeles County residents would back a Garcetti run for the White House.
The poll showed 63% of those surveyed said they would be either "strongly" or "somewhat" supportive of such a candidacy. Garcetti hasn't ruled out a 2020 presidential campaign, but he's also been eyeing the 2018 California governor's race. The Democrat recently visited New Hampshire, where his itinerary reportedly included cocktails with a billionaire political donor.
