White Privilege Test Earns Students Extra Credit

A white privilege exam is earning students extra credit at San Diego State University.  The 20-question quiz urges students to evaluate situations and determine if their skin color has benefited them in some way.  Students of all ethnicities can take the quiz and can earn the same extra credit in a sociology class regardless of their white privilege score.

The exam includes scenarios like being late to a meeting and having it reflect on your race, or being able to choose flesh colored bandages.  The professor says it's a way to bring people together.
