A man suspected of abducting his 9-year-old son, prompting an Amber Alert, is also a "person of interest" in the killing of the boy's mother who was found fatally shot at a home in Santa Maria
Investigators believe the father and son may now be in a black 2017 Jeep Cherokee with California license plate 7XZK698.
It was unclear where Konstantin Morozov may be headed with his son, Daniel but police asked that special attention be paid to international airports and border crossings.

An amber Alert was issued this morning for a license plate that matches 7JGG242 for a 2015 Blue Volkswagen Golf Hatchback in Santa Maria.
Authorities responded to a shooting at the 200 block of N. College Drive and found a victim at the scene.
They say the shooter behind the homicide is also responsible for the abduction of nine year old Daniel Morozov.
Daniel is described as white, male, 4 foot five inches tall, 90 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes.
They are now searching for Daniel and say he is likely to be in the company of Konstantin Morozov, white male, 48 years of age, 6 foot tall, 180 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes.
Authorities advise anyone who sees the individuals to not approach them, but call officials instead as Konstantin is considered armed and dangerous.
