Three Arrested For Halting Police Commission Meeting

Three people could be facing charges for bringing a Los Angeles Police Commission meeting to a halt.  The three protesters were arrested this morning after they failed to disperse from the room where the public meeting was taking place.

The LAPC was set to review potential disciplinary action in the fatal officer-involved shooting of 18-year-old Carnell Snell Jr.in South Los Angeles last fall.  Protesters began shouting within the first five minutes of today's meeting, which was brought to a halt twice.  The board president eventually declared an unlawful assembly.
