Customers at a Valley Glen Starbucks had a close call after a car slammed into a patio occupied by customers. This is the second time in three weeks that a vehicle has crashed at the coffee shop.
Los Angeles Police say two cars crashed at the intersection of Victory Boulevard and Coldwater Canyon, with one of the vehicles making its way onto the patio of the Starbucks. Three people were taken to the hospital, but there were no reports of any serious injuries.
Investigators are looking into how the wreck occurred.
The crash on Sunday night is similar to another three weeks ago, when when seven people were injured, three seriously at the same location. Again, two cars got into an accident, and one vehicle was slammed into the wall of the Starbucks. Employees say they're worried about their safety.
