(Hollywood, CA) -- Police are in the middle of a standoff with a possibly armed suspect at a motel in Hollywood. Officers say a man barricaded himself inside a room at the Motel 6 on Whitley Avenue late this morning. Officers had first been called to the scene on a report of shots fired in the area.
No injuries have been reported. A SWAT team is working to bring the man into custody. The second floor of the motel has been evacuated as a precaution.
