New details have emerged about the daring escape by three inmates at the Orange County jail back in January. An attorney connected with the case released a video shot by the inmates on a cell phone smuggled into the jail as they escaped.
The video shows the inmates slipping through a hole in a wall, using sheets to maneuver to the roof until finally, it ends with them sitting in a van talking about the news coverage of their escape.
One of the inmates turned himself in after a week of being on the run. The other two were captured after their van was spotted in San Francisco by a homeless man.
