The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office said Friday it filed four felony sex charges against an LAPD officer accused of having an illegal relationship with a 15-year-old female cadet.

Officer Robert Cain, 31, faces two counts of oral copulation with a person under the age of 16, two counts of lewd acts on a child, and two counts of unlawful sexual intercourse, according to court documents filed Thursday.

The allegations relate to three incidents at three different locations that occurred on June 14, according to the complaint.

Cain was already in jail when the case was filed.

He was arrested last week in San Bernardino County and pleaded not guilty to ten felony gun charges. Prosecutors there allege Cain was in possession of several illegal assault weapons when he was initially arrested in the sex case.

LAPD officials have told KFI NEWS explicit images and text messages were found on the 15-year-old girl's cellphone -- when she was among several cadets arrested last month for allegedly stealing and driving three LAPD patrol cars.
