Funeral services will be held in South Pasadena today for Aramazd "Piqui" Andressian Jr., the 5-year-old boy who went missing on April 21st. His father has been charged with his murder.
Services are scheduled to be held at 5 p.m. at Holy Family Church according to South Pasadena police. A public memorial is scheduled for 7 pm on Wednesday night at the Los Angeles Arboretum in Arcadia.
Andressian Jr. was last seen on April 21st leaving Disneyland with his father. Aramazd Andressian Sr., was later found unconscious at Arroyo Seco Park in South Pasadena the next day, unable to account for his boy's whereabouts. He's accused of killing the five-year-old amidst a bitter custody dispute with the child's mother.
Andressian Sr. entered a plea of 'not guilty' to murdering his son. He remains in jail in lieu of $10 million bail. His next court appearance is scheduled for August 16th when a date will be set for a hearing to determine enough evidence to stand trial.
Andressian Sr. faces up to 25 years to life in state prison if convicted.
